  1. I bought this DVD along with many others from the Bumble Bee series. I was very excited to receive these DVD’s based off of what I have read about them and their reviews. I have to admit, I am rather disappointed. The idea is great, as long you are using this as a learning tool instead of substituting parenting with a DVD. The quality is okay at best and it really does not hold my toddlers interest for longer than 5-10 minutes. For the price you pay, I was really expecting something better.

  2. I found these DVDs were very good tools for teaching early learners for speech and word association. I have many friends that use them for Autism/ Speech Therapy, yes, it’s that good.

It really got my son talking and recognizing words and things early. I know that not all kids are big fast learners but once you try like 5 DVDs you will get your kids interested in learning.

Excellent. I recommend the Bumblebee Volumes 1-5 DVDs also.

  3. I checked this DVD out at the library before purchasing it since there are so many choices out there. I was surprised to see my 22 month old so interested in this…(I would’ve thought he’d be bored since there are no cartoon characters but instead he was focusing and enjoying the video). He repeats the letters and words just like the children in the video. This is a very educational video and somehow interesting to my son. The video shows different children sounding out letters and then multiple words that begin with that letter (along with pictures of the words), going through the entire alphabet. I would highly recommend this video.

  4. my son watches this on demand on tv, he is only 18 months, but has learned quite a bit from it. he can tell you what letter comes after certain letters, and he has recognized a lot of written letters, like “A, F, Y, and X”. I think it is definatly due to the videos that he knows the letters. He also finds it very interesting. It is not the most visual thing, they show real people saying the letters and then they show items that begin with that letter.

  5. This moderately entertaining dvd features kids only and has encouraged my 5 year old daughter to want write her uppercase alphabet. We have a big library of education dvds and this one adds diversity and is quite educational.
