    unbelievable.

“She’s different” Thats terrible! There is absolutely nothing “different” about a child at that age that can read. She makes it sound like her baby is a freak. Rude.

  4. Shmopy25

    ”being different is difficult”
surely it should be easier since she can read, its not like it was the other way round lol :P

  5. ladyxeona

all kids are capable of this- starting at 6 months old.

  6. kmims2006

I hope her parents don’t push their own fears onto her and make her think she’s a freak. There are plenty of kids her age that can read, its not genius. Thanks to them she’ll have a great head start in school.

for real. Like other babies would go: look at that freak she can read well!! Rediculous

wtf, the mom should be happy. every baby has this potential
the mother should wake up and realize her baby isn’t “different” she should be happy!

    aww she is so cute

1:20 She can read at 17 and her mom’s saying that it’s hard for her to be different? wtf? Plenty of people can read, she’s just younger than them. Try raising a child with down’s syndrome, not a child that Harvard’s enrollment office is keeping an eye on.

not to say this is isnt amazing, but capacity doesnt mean she’s as intelligent as a average child reading. you can teach a chimp sigh language. but he’s not going to ponder quantum mechanics– or do they?…

i dont think immunizations can cure a genetically-based neurological disorder such as autism– though advanced motor skills, early vocalization, and problem solving are indicators that your child might have autism so be aware. always immunize your kids…

  13. PlatinumDigitalVideo

my kid was the same way and I kept asking my dr what I should do with my bizarrely gifted child. I wish someone would have told me to not immunize and to do the GFCF diet until she was at least 3 or 4 because at age 2 she lost her gifts and regressed into autism. I think that if I would have been told to hold off on the shots until she was older, her amazing sensitive system would have continued to grow and flourish and not be taken by autism.

Are you serious? I think the amazing thing is that at 17 months SHE HAS THE CAPACITY to learn this stuff. Her parents could have been teachers, or worked at McDonalds, no different. Also Pathologists! so obviously this toddler knows more than you.

no im just trying to be normal and not make my life worse by being negative about a positive thing. Oh and nice comment by the way real class

    b**chy are’nt we you jelous

  17. girl141994

    so cool!!

  18. cfenn2010

Yeah, my grandma told me my mom was learning to read as a toddler and her and my grandpa didn’t even know it, until my grandpa skipped a part in a book he was reading to her (she was looking on as he read it) and my mom stopped him and made him go back to the line or so he missed.

So dumb people freak out about kids all the time. Like someone already said just raise your kids with love and things will be fine. Everyone seems to be so worried things are gonna go wrong. Your kid can talk AMAZING well done isnt that the main goal in having a kid to be able to talk, walk, and be normal???

HEy every1 check out ” Aliza’s funny sleeping” its awesum!!!

  21. AAnneC

BULLLLLLLCRAP. They are BOTH Speech Pathologusts and they didnt teach her anything? SHAM! Moving along..

  22. ChrissyR23

OK… seriously… did that lady just almost cry that her daughter will have a hard time because she is different? She is a cute little kid who is obviously very smart. She doesn’t have 3 eyes. Yeah she will be different but how about seeing the positive!?

  23. Chewbsy

I don’t think being smart will make it hard for her to be social with her peers. That has more to do with self image or esteem issues. If she grows up in a loving household, she should have no problems interacting with other people.

  24. lollilolli88

that is very good that she can read. but i think its goin to be hard because the parents are going to push her harder and harder and are always going to be expecting the best of her

exactly and an ugly bitch too
