Child Genius – 28 month old reading -
Eric is amazing. He just turned 2 years old on March 6 and he can already read very well with excellent comprehension. He started to read on his own sometime around December, a Dick and Jane book, and since then has been steadily improving. We have been reading with Eric since birth and for a little over a year now we have been keeping a list of all the books that he finishes. Together we have read over 1100 books, most of them several times. We have also started a new list of the books that Eric has read by himself. For many months now Eric has been able to tell you his full name, mommy and my full names, his birthday, and his address. He has known all his colors for longer than I can remember. When he was barely 22 months old he was able to name all of the months and all the days of the week in order and all of the continents and planets. I’ve heard him count to 30 without making a mistake, and he can count to 100 by 10′s. He can count backward from 10 to zero. He can tell the time on a digital clock. He knows the alphabet, all the letter names and sounds and can decode most words. He can make rhymes and can even spell simple words such as cat or dog. He also knows almost every musical instrument or sport that you could think of. He often asks his mommy and me to pretend like we’re playing instruments such as a harp, a timpani, a guitar, a saxophone, a trumpet, etc., or his current favorite, a violin. We also end up pretending, at his request, to play such sports as …

Amazing!!!
God bless ur child! (:
thats not a genius
absolutely amazing!!!!
You’ve read 1100 books with him, that has nothing to do with someone being a genius, it’s called repetitive learning. I learned reading on my own when I was 4, my parents didn’t encourage me, I learned English when I was 6 by watching television and reading the Swedish translation. My IQ is 167, and I’m 11.
Cute video, click on my name to read some more, from an author
maybe you guys should read him more than one book lmao
uhm, “mild genius” is marked commonly at the 130 IQ-range. this woman’s voice is very similar to my mom’s btw, but I guess many women has the same sort of voice, I’ve noticed.
LOL @ genius! He is very sweet though.
tiny[dot]cc/mygfsucksyou – The girls there are so naughty
gifted but you can’t say he is a genius=) he might be but i highly doubt it=P

You guys have to learn the diference between “gifted”, and “genius”.
he’s very smart and cute
You must be a public school teacher.. bah!
All kinds of kids develop skills at different times. I think you son is a sweetie and so very bright. It’s not the only marker of a smart child. That’s not the point. Is the child happy and engaged in life? looks like it to me.
aw so cute lol and holy crap
soo cute:)!!
Of course its bad, he may be reading, but there are other things that he isn’t developing because of the reading, things that are way more important to a kid his age.
awwh, he would be an excellent audio book narrator,
lol
dude speach is just not physically develloped, ur apparantly not the smartest. unlike this kid..
