I ususally have a hard time recommending children’s books because they can sometimes seem either condescending or a bit surreal. THIS book seems to hit the target right on the nose by being encouraging about what else…? Reading!
The language is simple without being silly, and is a good first book that a child learning to read can go back to again and again until they’ve ‘mastered’ it.
The illustrations are great (and relevant!), and the story sized just right to give a child a feeling of accomplishment when they’ve got it down!

This is such a wonderful book for young readers. With such a limited selection of diversity in childrens books, I was able to provide my children with a more accurate picture of the world. One that includes everyone! Thanks to WeeBee Books!
