These little books are set up for “learn to read”. The left side of the page has just a few words – for the child to read. The right side has more – for the parent/teacher to read. There are several levels and as the levels rise the reading difficulty also rises with more words for both child and parent and more involved stories. The stories involve magicians and monsters and friends and pets – much more interesting then the usual kids on the beach, etc. boring stories. Puddle Lane is a magical sort of place with multi-cultural influences and friendly people.
