What are the chances of my baby coming early…. read more…?
OK – I am 31 weeks right now. I got pregnant very soon after giving birth to my last child (a few months later). Does that increase the chance of my baby being born early?
Also, the baby has dropped and is very low. I can feel her kicking (or punching) on my pelvic bone. Is this normal?
Do you think that I will have her early? How soon is ok?
im 33 weeks and my baby has dropped too. Im an sooo ready. My Dr says everything is normal and she will come when she is ready. She told me anything before 37 weeks is considered pre term. But I have read that at 35 weeks they are ready. So that’s what im hoping for.

Probably not. Babies are stubborn and ultimately it’s up to them when they’re ready to come. You may have her early but I wouldn’t be too concerned. If you have any other questions, ask your doctor.

Great site for us pregnant women, those TTC, and those who are just curious!
There is no increase in your next baby coming early.
I am 24 weeks and I can feel my baby kicking really low around my pelvic bone, I don’t think it is abnormal, just depends how the baby is laying inside you.
How soon is OK, pre-term is considered before 37 weeks, so anything under this could mean health implications for the baby.

You may or may not have your baby early. It doesn’t have anything to do with how soon after having a child you get pregnant, or how low you may be carrying. You won’t know until the day arrives.

I can’t really give you odds, but I can tell you that my babies have both gone very low, then moved back up during this pregnancy. My first daughter was born at 32 weeks and only spent a week in the NICU. By 31 weeks if your baby was born, she has a good prognosis. So don’t worry too much. Ideally if you could wait until 38 weeks that would be best, but I think you’ll both be fine. Best advice I can give you is to relax and not overdo it. I know that’s hard with a baby, but stressing will increase your odds of things not going well. Good luck to you.
